The Castle Inn has 4 lovely en suite rooms, 3 doubles, 1 twin and 2 of the doubles can be made up as family rooms. The Castle Inn is owned and run by Mark and Tanya who took over the business in July 2007, and carried out extensive refurbishment of the bar and restaurant in November 2007.

In addition to the rooms, The Castle Inn also offers great home cooked, locally sourced and seasonal food all day with regularly changing lunch and evening menus. There's also a comfy snug bar serving a local guest ale and Aspall's Suffolk Cyder on draught as well as lagers and bottled beers.

For the summer there is also a pretty courtyard garden, which can be a real sun trap! .

Outney meadow Caravan ParkOutney Meadow is a family run camping park in the Waveney Valley countryside within easy walking distance of the town centre.

Ideally situated between the river Waveney and the golf course at Bungay, the camping area is grass with some trees for shade and shelter.

There are 45 pitches, some with electric hook ups set in eight acres of ground and the park is open all year round. Dogs are welcome at the park but must be kept on a lead and exercised on the signed dog walk.

South Elmham HallSituated between the market towns of Bungay and Haleston in and area known as the Saints, the 450 acre farm straddles a narrow valley dissected by a small spring fed stream, on either side of which are ancient buttercup meadows bounded by high thick hedges interspersed with 500 year old pollarded Hornbeam trees, remnants of the medieval deer park once frequented by bishops and kings.

We offer time out for stressed adults, with tranquil gardens and stunning walks through our historic deer-park. We even have our own mysterious and beautiful eleventh century ruin, the South Elmham Minster! Our breakfasts are famous- and fabulous! Plenty of fresh air means you deserve a full English available for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

The hotel is a 16th century coaching inn that was rebuilt after the Great Fire of Bungay (see history section) and is in a commanding place in the centre of the town.

In addition to the 12 en-suite rooms, the hotel is a wonderful central venue for parties, weddings or other private functions and an ideal place to stop for lunch.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner or enjoy a drink in the Duke of Wellington Bar.
